How to Setup Google Maps API Key for Your WordPress Website
If you want to setup Google maps on your website or blog, you now need a Google maps javascript API key enabled in your Google developers console. This video tutorial will you show you step by step how to add google maps on your WordPress site.
What you need to do:
- Create a project in the Google developers console API section.
- Enable the Google Maps Javascript API.
- Create credentials for the API key using the button specified in the video.
- Secure the API key by adding ‘HTTP Referrers’ in the ‘Credentials’ area (shown in the video).
- Add API key to your WordPress theme or plugin options.
