Setting up a Local Environment for Development Using Ampps

In this video tutorial we are showing you how to setup a local development environment on windows 10 using Ampps. I am using the latest ver 3.6 of Ampps here in this video. Though you can download the latest version easily from Ampps’s official website.

I am using WordPress as my content management system but you can use it with a variety of content management systems and a lot more. You can explore all the available softwares once you have it installed on your own computer.

The main components of this video are:

• Installation of Ampps on your Windows 10 PC.
• Installation of Ampps in the root directory instead of the Program Files Directory, to make it more accessible.
• Securing of your Ampps and setting up a password.
