Make a Nice Glossy Button Using Photoshop In Minutes
In this tutorial, I will show you how to create a nice attractive glossy button using photoshop in just a few minutes.
This is the final result:

I will also show you how to make it with this text effect:

Step 1:
Let’s begin, first open a new document with the following settings:

Step 2:
Create a separate new layer.
Create an appropriate sized shape using the ‘Rounded rectangle tool’ and the color green [code: #577e40] as shown in the image below for the button:

Step 3:
Apply the following Layer Effects to the Layer the button is on to give it the proper embossed effect:
Bevel and Emboss Settings:

Gradient settings:

Stroke setting:

Step 4:
Create a new layer.
Create a Square covering half the button shape, as shown in the image below using the ‘Rectangle Marquee Tool’ and fill it with White color [#ffffff].

Step 5:
On the layer you created the white space change the layer style to ‘Soft Light’ and bring down the Opacity to 30%, you should get the glossy effect on the button:

Step 6:
Adding the text. I have used a very common font ‘Cooper STD’. Write whatever text you want on your button and center it as necessary, now use the following Layer Effect setting:
Bevel and Emboss:

Once this setting has been applied, you should get this result:

Now if you want the text inside the button, you will have to change the bevel and emboss settings and apply these instead:

Once these settings have been changed, you will get this effect on your button:
