Cafe world is a game where you can build your own cafe and decorate it according to your own desires, you have to cook the meals from a menu and you start learning recipes to cook new meals as you level up in the game. The developers of the game (Zynga) is still adding new things into the game so keep checking in for updates.

Tips from users

Marty Mathews, told me of a way he leveled up really fast, to quote him "i did 2 levels in about a hour by using 2 lighting stoves i would cook stuffed mushrooms and delete them over and over cost about 300,000 coins". So this would cost cafe coins but you'd get experience points, you can always earn cafe coins by getting all the food on this page and serving it anyway.

Does your cafe hang a lot?

One of the biggest complaints w/ Cafe world is it freezing up. First, to load faster DO NOT CLICK ON GREEN CHECK until it is finished loading and says "start cooking".

The new coffee feature

I think we could have done without this feature, but oh well. To make coffee you require energy which is a new bar on the top of your cafe world screen:



Every time you brew a new pot of coffee you will use up some of your energy, but at the same time every coffee cup you serve gives you buzz rating points depending on which coffee you brew.

See customers with small balloons with a cup of coffee on them?



That means they want to drink coffee so you have to click individually on the customers to serve them, which I think sucks, something automated would have been quite better, also make sure you click them before they sit and get served or you wont be able to serve the coffee.

Lightning Stoves



Lightning stoves like Super Stoves are capable of cooking in just one click but also cooks all dishes 10% faster!

A new way to earn cafe coins, cafe cash and food:

With the new daily bonus you can earn cafe coins and cafe cash too! Keep an eye out for these on your live feeds:

Super Stove :



Super stoves are stoves that can cook recipes with only one click. Super stoves are available for free now to all email subscribers, you can also get another one free by collecting 50 spare parts of the stove, you can get these parts by asking your friends or through the live feed on facebook as well. There is an option to buy these spare parts but it would cost 1 cafe cash each and they're really hard to come by unless you intend to buy them with real money.

Customizing your own character:



You can customize your own character by clicking either on your character or the change clothes option. There is a wide range of choices in which you can dress up your own character and change its appearance as well. Play around with this option till you get what you want, it's not that expensive to buy new wardrobes or styles of appearance but the best thing is you get to try it on before you buy :)

Employees:



You get to hire waiters as you level up in the game, you can hire your facebook friends as employees and fire them as well. You actually get medals for firing employees.

Medals:



You get various medals in cafe world for accomplishing different achievements, there are medals for:

- Adding neighbors
- For making cafe coins
- Helping friends
- Amount of money spent
- How many customers you've served
- amount of gifts received
- Amount of dishes spoiled
- Buying Decorations
- Selling items
- Spending Cafe Coins on Food
- Firing employees
- Spending Cafe Cash
- Buying items for your character or avatar
- Cooking regularly

The Buzz rating:

Your cafe's buzz rating can be found on the upper right corner of your cafe, you should see a thumbs up with a number next to it. The buzz rating of a cafe controls how many customers will walk in and it will go up if the customer is satisfied and got his meal, but if the customer does not get a meal or has to wait too long the buzz rating will go down fast.

Serving faster:

There's a little bug in this game that you can take advantage of. You need to box in your staff inside the serving counters and you'll notice they serve the food much faster. Here are a couple of examples:





Playing strategies:

If your goal is to get a lot of money, you need to choose your recipes accordingly. You need to take into consideration the amount of cooking time, the amount it costs, how many it will serve and how much profit you can generate out of that dish. However if your goal is to level up faster, you need to look into dishes that take longer to cook and will give you a lot of cafe points when you serve them.

Spoiled food:

If you cook a dish and leave it out too long, like in reality they will spoil. However, if the dish takes a small time to cook it will spoil faster in relation to a dish that takes a long time to cook.

The Spice Rack:



The spice rack contains a lot of spices that can either help you cook your dishes faster or add more servings to them. You need your neighbor's help to complete your spice rack just like with the stove and the wedding cake but once it's done you get a spice rack full of spices. Personally I think the thyme spices are all way too expensive and since they can only be bought with cafe cash its really unfair.

Few things to know:

Expand your cafe only when you have a lot of extra cash, remember it takes money to cook dishes too as well as when you do expand your cafe you'll need to add a lot of tiling and other stuff that will cost money too.

I'd suggest not buying the mystery crate instead to save up and buy something you really want.

Blocking and Removing the Door:

Your buzz rating goes down if customers come and visit your cafe, all the seats are full, people are eating and another customer comes through the door. By dragging a chair and placing them behind the door will temporarily lock your door and protect your buzz rating from going down when your food runs out. Leaving your cafe closed with customers inside will let you earn coins while you are away and when your food runs out, you will not lose any of your buzz rating. Another way of not letting customers out through the door temporarily is to remove the door.
