Welcome to another one of our drawing tutorials, here is one where you can find out how to go about drawing a giraffe. You can use this as an idea to draw your own character or as an icon or any other uses you can think up. Here is what we're going to draw:

Drawing the basic shape

To begin open a new document, I used a 800x800px size with a white background. Create a new layer and name it body. Draw the shape in the image below:



In case you're having a problem drawing the shape above you can download that shape and another shape that is used later in this tutorial. The second shape normally comes with photoshop but i've provided it anyway.

These are the two shapes: (Click image to download shapes)

Fill the shape with the color code: #ff8d04



Create a new layer, name it ear. Draw the shape as shown in the image below:

Create a new layer, name it front horn. Draw the shape as shown in the image below:
