RE: 3D modeling?
No such thing as easy.. they're all difficult to master and take some time of practice.. I'd go for 3D Studio Max if I am related to your field Rick, as it involves modeling homes amongst other things as for Maya, its basically a software great for character modeling.

Got any other ideas. 3D Studio Max is an Autodesk product and they don't make anything for a Mac. Rolleyes

Yes, FormZ was listed as one of the 3D modeling programs on pure-mac.com which is basically a site with all kinds of programs for Mac.

RE: 3D modeling?
Google SketchUp is an easy-to-learn 3D modeling program that enables you to explore the world in 3D. With just a few simple tools, you can create 3D models of houses, sheds, decks, home additions, woodworking projects - even space ships. And once you’ve built your models, you can place them in Google Earth. You can treat it as theme. Styles is new collections of display settings including Watermarks and Sketchy Effect enable users to create 3D models to fit their professional or personal needs.
