Not really, with an harddisk crash it simply wont start, and you get no text.

Check your motherboard, and plug it into another pc. Then look for any "errors" inside of it, use regristry cleaners, MalwareBytes Anti Malwere and all you can find.

RE: AARRRRGGHHH computer not booting
I think the disk not ready error is coming before even booting... so yep it should be the dead harddrive... see if your harddrive is responding on start up.. Vibrations... noise.. anything..

Or better yet, to troubleshoot, you could set everything to default, search for your harddrive, locate it, save and exit.. see what happens?

RE: AARRRRGGHHH computer not booting
Lol. I had a dead harddrive, was completely broken.

It doesnt give an error, it simply lets you watch a white underscore appearing and dissappearing Tongue

Search it online, possibly you need to reinstall windows.

Does it make sounds? If it makes an high, wierd sound then it might be broken .

If it seems to be searching, its good. (like usually)

If it makes no sound, its probably the motherboard.

RE: AARRRRGGHHH computer not booting
I think I know what it is.

THe HD Is NOT broken. Its most likely a fault in the BIOS.

Reset all BIOS defaults, its probably getting started up before its ready.
if thats not it, SLave it to a different PC and check it out.

If its broken, ittl click, make highsounds and go real wierd. And you dont get an error.

Use Windows Repair.
