Level 3 - master all 4 specialty coffees to level 1
ask for 15 unsalted butters --- 3743
unlock the bartender.

Level 4 - master 2 juice blends to level 1
ask for 15 coffee beans --- 3744
ask for 15 cocoa powder ---3745

Level 5 - ((NOTE - this is what was reported to me. i hate mastering coffees/juices, as i can't do anything but stare at cafe world the whole time, so i'm not there yet.))
master ALL juices/coffees to level 2. (I am not clear if this means finish level 1 of each, or finish level 2 of each. sorry.)
ask for 15 baby carrots -- 3105

To hire barista...

Level 1 mastery - ask for (and yes, you have to ask, gid's don't work for this) - 3 coffee grinders, 5 aprons, 8 sugar packets, 10 coffee stirrers.

(apparently this works much as "upgrade your bar" worked. however, it appears that there's only one level of each, not 3, so you might not want to waste 320 requests to get the items. ((yes, i send out a whole lot of extra requests when i need things.)))

And, for those whos friends are even faster than mine, I'm gonna post a mass pile of gids down here. some will work, some won't. (as stated above). i'll sort through them and put them in the appropriate places later =)

For the 5th level on Barista, level 2 must be mastered for juice blend drinks and specialty coffee. Depending on where you are now in energy, this level is going to take alot of time. Please if you complete any levels for ice cream, drinks or coffee, post an energy refill on your friends wall.

yeah, i finally made it to level 5, then just didn't get back around to editing my post. =)

sadly, for the last 4.5 days straight, energy refills haven't even been working for me. (and i mean, literally thousands of refills telling me they'd already been claimed.) bummer.

i did the math, something like 100 days without a energy refill.

at which point, i kinda stopped making them all together.

i should really log into cafe today. huh.
