What are the numbers at the end of the link?

The numbers at the end of the link are the time stamp. It is a way for the system to show how old the link is so if the time stamp is too old it won't work.

Im lost and new to the website the GID NUMBER do we put them numbers in the address bar or somewhere else, thanks for any help.

probably a small tutorial on as to how it works.... or how to get in this GID thingy and where
