Just curious, is anyone using the GIDs or would you prefer links? Let me know.

I prefer links, but I can work with GIDs if forced to.

Love GIDs

I also prefer links. GIDs are ok but a lot of work for something that doesn't always do the job. Links don't either, but a lot less effort (for me, thanks for your efforts!)

Personally I prefer the links. I have tried the GIDs but have absolutely no luck in getting them to ever work.
